Q1: What is the cost of the Land Forum?

Q2: What is included in the cost? 
A: Rate Includes:

  • Accommodations, meals, beverages, Wi-Fi
  • Educational Opportunities
  • Face time and networking time with Suppliers, fellow Independent Agencies, and Avoya Staff
  • Opportunities for site inspections of the resort
  • Airport transfers to and from the resort on arrival and departure days

Q3: What is not included? 
A: Rate does not include - Flights to and from Mexico

Q4: Who can attend? 
A: Independent Agency Owners who have completed Avoya University, Additional Licensees of an Independent Agency who have completed Avoya University, and Guests (18+). Per AIC, no guests under the age of 18 will be able to attend this event within our group.

Q5: What is the cancellation policy? 
A: Immediately in effect, your registration costs are non-refundable. If the Avoya Events Team is able to fill your room, your registration fees may be refundable, less a cancellation fee listed below: 

  • Should you cancel before March 31, there will be a $45 per person cancellation fee. 
  • Should you cancel between April 1 - 30, there will be a $149 per person cancellation fee. 
  • Should you cancel after May 1, your registration costs will be non-refundable. 

The Events Team will do what they can to refill your room, but please note it will take time to fill.

Q6: How do I book my own room? 
A: The Events Team will be booking your room on your behalf once your registration is complete. There must be an Independent Agency Owner or ILA in each room. 

Q7: Are there any special rates for pre/post nights available at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya? 
A: At this time pre/post nights are sold out with Hard Rock Riviera Maya (as of 4/14/2026). If you have already requested, we are working on confirming with Hard Rock. Should you wish to book a pre/post night, you can do so through the Travel Agent portal at the available rate for TAs. 

Q8: Are there going to be any pre/post FAMs for IAs to take advantage of? 
A: Glad you asked! We are working on opportunities for pre/post FAMs and will provide additional information once available. 

Q9: Can I pick my room type when registering?
A: No, all rooms will be selected by Hard Rock Riviera Maya and are run-of-house rooms. We will be requesting rooms central in location to the meeting spaces. 

Q10: Can I pick the bed type in my room when registering?
A: Yes, you can select a King or two Doubles upon registration. Please note, the Events Team and the resort will do it's best to accommodate the request. 

Q11: Can I book another hotel and join the event at Hard Rock Riviera Maya?
A: No, you will have to book into our group and at Hard Rock Riviera Maya to participate in any Land Forum events.

Q12: Can I do a name change for my guest?
A: Name changes will be allowed at no cost until April 30, 2026. As of May 1, 2025 name changes will incur a $50 fee.

Q13: When can I expect to receive my booking number for Hard Rock Riviera Maya?
A: Booking numbers are not necessary for this event. You will provide your name and that you are with the Avoya group when you check in, and you will be all set. 

Q14: Do I have to attend the Avoya events while on property? What events are there while on property?
A: Yes, you will be required to attend all Avoya events while on property. To see the agenda, please click on the agenda tab.

Q15: Is there an agenda while we are on property at Hard Rock Riviera Maya?
A: Yes, a high-level tentative agenda is currently available on the agenda tab, but more specifics will be shared closer to the event.

Q16: What airport should I fly into? 
A: It is recommended to fly into Cancun International Airport, which is about a 1-hour drive to the resort. 

Q17: What times should I look at when I am booking my filghts? 
A: For your flights, we recommend arriving on Sunday, June 7 and departing on Thursday, June 11. We will kick off the event in the afternoon of Sunday, June 7 and Thursday, June 11 with be a departure day, so you can plan accordingly. 

We recommend checking out the agenda tab for the most up to date agenda as we are constantly updating the event website.

Q18: Where do I submit my flight information for transfers? 
A: You can enter your flight information in your registration now! We kindly ask that you log back into your registration to submit, if your guests flights are different than your own they will need to log into their own registration and submit their flight information. 

As a reminder, transfers are complimentary for those arriving on June 7 and departing on June 11. If you are arriving early or departing later, you will need to secure your own transfers. You can still secure through Amstar, and mention Avoya for a discounted rate. 

All flight information will be due to the Events Team by Monday, June 1. Note, if you do not provide flight information we will assume that you do not need transfers to and from the event. 

If you are arriving prior to 6/7 or departing after 6/11, you are welcome to book your own transfers through Amstar at a discounted rate and you will need to secure on your own. Below you will find information on how to book your transfers if you are arriving or departing outside the event dates: 

Q19: What clothing should I pack? 
A: We kindly ask you to dress in business casual clothing during general sessions and workshops, resort casual during the rest of your stay, and more information on theme nights to come!

Q20: Are there theme nights while we are onsite?
A: Yes, see below:

Q21: What events can my guest attend?
A: Guests can attend all events unless noted otherwise on the agenda
