Q: What is included? 
A: Qualifying Independent Agency Owner or Invited Independent Licensed Agent: 
Cabin, all meals (including the three specialty restaurants), mimosa breakfast, wine and beer with lunch and dinner, soft drinks and water all day.  All tours, including multiple tours in various ports. Port charges and gratuities.

Q: What is NOT included?
A:
 Airfare, drink package, ground transfers, pre/post nights.

Q: Will there be any pre/post optional extensions available?
A:
 Airfare, drink package, ground transfers, pre/post nights.

Q: Do I need a passport to attend this event? 
A: 
Yes, a valid passport is required to attend. Your passport must be valid for six months after your arrival date back in the US.

Q: Can I attend as a solo traveler?
A:
 Yes, solo rooms are available for this trip at no additional single supplement. 

Q: Are there triple and quad rooms available? 
A: 
There may be availability for LIMITED triple occupancy rooms (no quads). Please contact Events@AvoyaTravel.com for additional information. 

Q: Is there an age requirement for guests?
A:
 Avoya's age requirement for attendees is 12 years old, please note this is different from AmaWaterways' policy, and that is due to the nature of the event.  When deciding on a guest attendee, please keep in mind that there will be Avoya programming while on board that will be mandatory. 

Q: What is the cancellation policy? 
A:
 Effective immediately upon registration and approval, there will be a cancellation fee per person if the Avoya Events Team is unable to refill your space. If the Avoya Events Team is able to refill your space the cancellation fee will be waived, less a non-refundable processing fee of $50. Please see the fees below: 

  • Qualifying IA  - $500 cancellation fee 
  • Guest - Fees paid + $500 cancellation fee 

Note, these fees will be assessed should the Events Team not be able to refill your cabin. If you are to cancel a guest and still attend as a solo, the guest fees will be non-refundable. 

The Events Team HIGHLY encourages travel insurance for your trip to cover any costs should you have to cancel your trip. The Events Team will be able to provide any back up needed for any insurance claims should they be filed. 

Avoya Events has instituted it's own Event cancellation policy, since Award space, and Event Staff resources, are limited. This supersedes the Supplier cancellation policy as the space we are holding is unique.

Q: Can I make a name change? 
A:
 Name changes will be allowed until January 31, 2027 at no cost. Any name changes on or after February 1, 2027, will incur a $50 name change fee.

Q: Will there be any Avoya programming that I have to attend? 
A:  
Yes, there will be some Avoya programming that will be mandatory to attend. More information will come on the agenda for the event.

Q: What airport should I fly in and out of?
A:
It is recommended to fly into 
Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport and out of Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. 

Q: How early can I book for my flight on April 4? 
A:
It is recommend to book your flight after 10:00 AM on April 4, but we are currently scheduled to arrive to the final port before 6:00 a.m.

Q: Can I arrive late or leave the trip early?
A:
To ensure the best experience for everyone and to accommodate event logistics, participants must attend the recognition trip in its entirety. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate late arrivals or early departures. If you're unable to attend the full trip, we kindly ask that you not register. Thank you for your understanding!

Q: Are visa's required for this tour?
A:
AmaWaterways will provide all necessary information, updates, and supporting documents for your travel requirements, including visa and Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs), if required, approximately 60-90 days prior to your departure. ETIAS visa waiver requirements are anticipated to begin during the last quarter of 2026, for a fee, when visiting a Schengen Area Country.
